Blogging styles

---1---
Haiya ... today is very sian. Morning; sian. Afternoon, sun shine until so hot ... want to sleep; sian. Night; lazing around, sian. And tomorrow is a big day. X-Country coming up. Ok, shall sleep now. sian ahhhhh ...

I very shock can?! It's like if you walk into a store and they give you the tull look, you will be shocked right?! What is this world coming to? Very scary leh ...
---3---
Empty. It's all empty. Feels like the world is swinging ... swaying. Ohh .. the feeling in the gut. [next para] What is going on? Like I wake up, only to be greeted by [next para] monotony. [next para] It's all catching up on me. [next para] Seriously. [next para] I mean it.
---4---
Lyrics! [next para onwards contain lyrics of a popular, otherwise completely obscure song]

o.o She saw me today! It was most unexpected. I really really cannot describe that kind of feeling. And, I'm telling you who she is ... ... NOT. Haha keep guessing. The tagboard is always open. Woohoo so happy today. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I think most adolescent bloggers are not free of the first 5 styles. I admit I have been guilty of them myself [style 3 - normally used in satires; and style 4 - when there's a song I like].
Maybe we all need to rethink about what is useful and what is not.
(and yes, disclaimer: this post is not to ridicule any one, or any style. It's plainly empirical =)]

USP (2)

Overall it was fun. And Katie May is super - triple major in the States: Biology, Theatre and Creative Writing. o.o Anyway, we went to a nearby park (still in NUS) and found a spot each to stay rooted there to write a short creative piece. I confess I wasn't really rooted. But anyway, my is sort of trivial conpared to what NYians and RIians and JC students are capable of. Especially the vocabulary they have. Stunning. Now there's a new vocab king. Can't remember his name - I just know he always wears black sweaters to class.
Then we had to choose a line we liked best from our pieces and randomly combine to form a cooperative poem. And it made sense! o.o I thought initially that it was just for laughs but o.o it actually made sense. There was even a constant imagery and foreshadowing of events!
Ok I shall stop here.

USP Workshop

Ok, so I thought it was from 8.30 to 5.30, but it so totally was not. In fact it was like from 8.30 to like 1? That's like a totally whole world of difference. Anyway, it's quite cool in fact. Totally awesome. Very nice indeed. Predominantly RI and NY students, I'm the loner from RV. And the instructors were totally friendly, and especially funny when one of them defined the emo uniform: thick black rim glasses, converse flat based shoes, tight black skinnies and black t-shirt featuring an obscure, independent rock band. HAHAHAHA. Everyone may not be blonde but there was certainly no communication problem, between them, that is. For me, it's rather a frequent-kinda-thing.
Guess they're from Arizona Uni, and I don't think Cheers has an outlet there - it's more of a local phenomenon. If you don't get what I'm saying, go NUS or Ngee Ann Poly and it'll be sufficient. Another thing is that the walls made it look like Basic and I was sitting so straight and kept reminding myself that it's in fact far from Basic.
